Implants
Before we decide to perform the procedure, we must carry out a detailed examination of the oral cavity paying special attention to the condition of the teeth, gums and the amount of bone tissue in the locations of the planned implants.
Of course, the decision to undergo treatment has a huge impact on your overall health.
Fortunately, only serious systemic, psychiatric diseases and chronic intake of certain drugs (eg steroids) are contraindications.
From the prosthetic point of view, both the lack of a single tooth, multiple missing are potential indications for treatment with implants. In the latter case, more than one implant is involved, it does not mean that the number of implants must be equal to the number of lost teeth.
For example, only a few implants are needed when there is a toothless jaw - the rest of the spaces can be filled with standard crowns!
